My baby graduated from Kindergarten!

I've been occupied with Father's Day, birthdays, graduation and end of the year activities at my son's school and now that it's all over, I have a few minutes to update my blog :) I was going to make the kids a milk carton treat box, but I wanted to use their school photos...then I thought to myself, "That wouldn't be good to put the kids picture on the milk cartons!" I definitely didn't want any "missing children" connotation at all, no way! So I had to come up with something else...a bookmark. Perfect, that'll promote reading. A much better idea, haha :)

So, I played and this is what I came up with. I used the school colors: Navy and Burgandy. I printed out the school name and Kinder Class of 2010 onto Very Vanilla cardstock.  The kids loved them and now they have a special bookmark as they read their books :) I made one for his wonderful teacher also. She has definitely made a HUGE impact in Matthias' life. Thank you Mrs. Calderon!!!!

I used the colors: Not Quite Navy & Bravo Burgandy
Stamps Used: Animal Crackers, Retired Stars and misc grad hat that I had on hand

Purse/Tote Bag & Workshop

The ladies all worked hard and did a GREAT job with their unique purse/tote bag and "Manly" card! Thanks ladies for a fun afternoon together. Below you will find my samples and directions on how to create these on your own. Happy Stamping!

Aren't these just beautiful?! It was surprisingly pretty simple. My friend wanted to learn how to make this so she forwarded me directions from Lyssa Griffin Zwolaneks and the 3D rose was inspired from my friend, Jessica Ying (see video below). I just love how other Stampin' Up! Demonstrators are so willing to share their ideas, so that we can just case it and make it. You don't have to be "creative" and come up with your own ideas. If you can copy, you can create :) Contact me to sign up or host a workshop.
