Lotion Bottle Tags

Sorry, I've been so busy with the holidays, church, workshop preparations...and healing my whole household last month. Finally getting a breather and updating you with what I've been up to. It's nice to get some stamping done in between all the busyness. Here's a special project that I had the opportunity to work on:

Whoohoo! My very first "official" order. I made these for a friend of mine. She needed it for her friend's baby shower. I started out with the "a little note of thanks" pictured below using the Top Note Die, but it was going to be way too big on a 2 oz lotion bottle...so I looked around and found the same shape on one of my cricut cartridges, I was so happy!

Instead of stamping, I personalized it on the computer and printed it on Whisper White cardstock, punched it out with the Scallop Circle punch and distressed it with Chocolate Chip ink. I texturized the pink paper with the Small Dots template. I used Pretty in Pink and Chocolate Chip Cardstock papers. Punched the top with the Crop-A-Dile and put a ribbon through it. I was nervous at first, but it was so much fun making it!

I folded this in half and ran it through the big shot on the Top Note die. Works great as a tag or card on a bag.

12/7 Holiday Workshop

The ladies made some festive holiday projects: a Banner, Desk Calendar and a Lollipop holder. We had Christmas music on and hot chocolate and tea. It was a fun, nice and relaxing night with Karen & Annamarie.

Lollipop Holders

I made some of these and they were a hit at the Chino Farmer's Market a few months ago. I've updated it since and used silver brads to hold them together, they hold it together much better than just the Tombo glue. These are great little gifts for teachers, kids, coworkers, etc.

These are very easy to make:
1) Cut out a 2x6 cardstock and fold it in half for the base
2) Punch the bottom opening with either the Scallop Edge, Lace Scallop punch or you can leave it straight
3) Stamp your desired image on Whisper White cardstock and punch it with the 1 3/8 circle punch (I used the current Host Stamp Set: Holiday Best)
4) Punch out the matching cardstock color with the Circle Scallop for the background mat
5) Adhere that image with a Dimensional onto the lollipop base
6) Using the Paper Piercer or 1/16 hole puncher, pierce 1 hole on the left and one on the right
7) Put in two silver brads to hold /punch together
8) Insert lollipop, stick through the side and then down the middle of the bottom opening

Voila! You've got a very festive lollipop gift.
